Lake City Chiropractic held a grand opening for their new office location in downtown Acworth a few short months ago – and since has flourished! While the building is brand new, their clinic has been a part of the Acworth community for several years. Both Lori Tanner, the masseuse for Lake City, and Dr. Andrew Payne have been a part of the Lake City family for many years.
Continuing our blog series highlighting fellow small businesses in our local community – Dr. Payne was kind enough to sit down with us to discuss his journey with the clinic.
Q: Tell Us About Yourself And What You Do At lake City Chiropractic.
My name is Andrew Payne. I am the owner and chiropractor at Lake City Chiropractic located in downtown Acworth. I am married and have three wonderful children. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching UGA football, and playing pickleball.
Q: How Did The Lake City Chiropractic Business Originate?
I took over Lake City Chiropractic in 2017 and we recently moved to our new location in late 2021.
Q: Have You Felt A Sense Of Community Operating In Downtown Acworth?
I come from a small town in Midwest Georgia and enjoy the similar feeling Acworth has. Downtown Acworth’s sense of community is one of my favorite things about it. I have been a member of the Acworth Business Association for several years and currently serve on the Acworth Business Association Board of Directors and the Acworth Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors. I also have the privilege of being the chiropractor for the North Cobb High School Warriors. My goal for all my patients is to get better quickly so they can return to enjoying life.
Q: Why Do You Love What You Do And What Are Your Future Plans For Your Business?
I love helping people. There is nothing like getting patients out of pain without the use of drugs or medications. We want to expand our presence in Cobb County utilizing our brand-new state of the art Acworth office and expand our mobile division, our mobile chiropractic office, in the rural parts of Northwest Georgia treating car accident patients that do not have access to chiropractic care.
