For yet another consecutive year, Jones & Swanson is showing our support for the local Cops and Kids charity program. The North Metro Fraternal Order of Police runs this program aiming to connect law enforcement with their communities in an effort to support the current generation and future.
Cops And Kids Brings Hope To Georgia.
Every day children across Georgia are without basic essential needs. Fortunately, many within the Cobb County community help support programs that assist with these issues.
Cops and Kids is just that: a group of retired and active law enforcement officials who aim to show children opportunities and connect them with a safe support system, while also giving to those in need. The group works tirelessly every year to provide children with school supplies, food pantry needs, and even gifts at Christmas time.
Last December, the program was able to take 121 children from local schools on a Target shopping spree! These children shopped alongside police officers and deputies for toys, supplies and any other items they needed at no cost – thanks to generous donations from our amazing local community.
Another Cops and Kids program triumph in 2022 was the group providing 22 schools with various food pantry items in Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas and Paulding counties! This effort was incredibly meaningful to those children and provided aid when they needed it most.
The Cops and Kids charity program’s support has done wonders for the community, and you can help too!
Your Donation Could Change A Life.
Jones & Swanson has donated each year for nearly a decade and we urge those who are able to do the same. Whether the donation be from a local business, individual or in someone’s honor – every bit helps. There is no minimum amount to support the program; even giving your time to this charitable cause is enough.
If you would like to donate you can visit lodge13copsandkids.org/donate or follow their charity events online here.
