When Andrew Jones and Chase Swanson first began practicing law in the Marietta area, the attorneys quickly realized that involvement in the local community was something that held high importance to both partners. The Jones & Swanson firm is involved with a variety of organizations and sponsorships throughout the year – and not just the attorneys. Our staff members also participate in local events regularly. The firm’s most recent involvement was in a charity golf tournament organized by the Cobb County Bar Association. The tournament, the Annual Cobb County Bar Association – Law Day Classic, benefits the Children’s Emergency Fund.
The Cobb Bar Association started the Children’s Emergency Fund in an effort to raise money for families throughout the Cobb County community. Most families supported by the fund are experiencing an unavoidable crisis or are simply facing hard times. The Children’s Emergency Fund offers a one-time financial grant to assist these families in need. Sometimes it may be as simple as providing clothing to a child whose parents have lost their job, while other situations may call for a month’s mortgage payment. Everyone needs a helping hand at some point in their lives – so the staff at Jones & Swanson supports this organization in an effort to better the people in the Cobb County Community.
For yet another year, Jones & Swanson was a proud Gold Sponsor at the Law Day Classic. Many individuals from the Cobb County community, including Andrew and Chase, enjoyed a beautiful day of golf to raise money for a great cause. The attorneys and staff members at Jones & Swanson will continue to give back to the community any way that we can.
Whether we are backing our clients in a legal battle or sponsoring the Law Day Classic, we are thankful that we have the opportunity as a business to give back to our community.
