At the Marietta law offices of Jones & Swanson, our attorneys are committed to community involvement. Cobb County has been our home for countless years, and we are excited to continue to grow in this fantastic community. By participating in community events and sponsoring various organizations, we feel that we are able to provide positivity in Marietta and surrounding cities.
In 2014, the Law Offices of Andrew w. Jones (currently Jones & Swanson) was involved in a variety of community events and sponsorships. Attorney M. Chase Swanson served for another consecutive year on the Sleighbells on the Square 5K Chairing Committee. For months prior to the December road race, Mr. Swanson worked to gain the highest possible involvement in the race so that the Children’s Emergency Fund would receive the best support possible. In addition to Chase’s sponsorship, our personal injury firm also sponsored the event. The Law Offices of Andrew W. Jones also sponsored the Cops and Kids Program, as well as a bicycle safety helmet event at Marietta Head Start. By supplying the funds for new safety helmets to be fitted at the event, we were able to give back to families in Cobb County.
During 2015, our community involvement will continue: first, with our support for the second consecutive year of 6-4-3 DP Athletics and the 6-4-3 Foundation. This program provides a safe environment for young baseball and softball players to learn more about the game, as well as improve their athletic abilities. By helping to provide a unique environment such as this in Cobb County, we believe that many young citizens will have an outlet to turn to and invest their time in.
Jones & Swanson is also sponsoring the Third Annual Law Day Classic golf tournament in 2015, which is promoted by the Cobb County Bar Association. Like Sleighbells on the Square, this May golf tournament will benefit the Cobb County Bar Children’s Emergency Fund.
In addition to these community event sponsorships, the attorneys at Jones & Swanson have always been involved in the Georgia and Cobb County legal communities. Andrew Jones is a past President of the Cobb County Trial Lawyers, Cobb County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia, and Cobb County Younger Lawyers Division. Chase Swanson is currently serving as Treasurer of the Cobb County Trial Lawyers Association. In the past, he has served as President of the Cobb County Younger Lawyers Division, Secretary of the Cobb County Trial Lawyers Association and Treasurer of the Cobb County Younger Lawyers Division. Both Andrew and Chase have had the privilege of receiving the Ross Adams Younger Lawyer Award and the President’s Award (awarded by the Cobb County Bar Association). These leadership appointments and honors have molded Attorneys Andrew Jones and Chase Swanson into the best personal injury attorneys that they are today.
