Approximately 211 vehicles are estimated to be affected by the recall. This automobile recall reminds us of an even more prominent one in the news recently: that of millions of GM vehicles due to overlooked safety concerns. This year alone, General Motors has released recalls for over 11 million automobiles. This string of recalls is a result of the ignition defects brought to light in cases of at least 13 people who lost their lives as a result of the safety defect. Many popular vehicles are included in this most recent announcement, including Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, and Pontiac models.
